Welcome to Design to Five: A travel & design blog covering travel, architecture, interiors, products, and all things design.

I am excited to announce the launch of my new travel and design blog, Design to Five. I have always had a passion for traveling and wanted to link my passions of design, material culture, and travel together.

Every week on Tuesday I will have a new post covering various topics. Stay tuned for posts about travel tips, product features from local artisans around the world, design trends, design products from different manufacturers, architectural sites, and more.

A little bit about me:

I graduated in May 2016 from UW-Madison with a degree in Interior Architecture & a certificate in Material Culture.

I am currently working full time as an interior designer at an architecture firm, but have quite the travel bug. Traveling and exploring new places excite me. There is so much in the world to see and learn from.

At the fresh age of 22, I have already been 10 different countries, over 32 international cities, and 5 continents! Wanna know which ones? Check out my post: Where in the World? to find out places I have visited these past few years. I have already been to 5/8 Continents! My goal is to make it 7/8!( Sorry Antarctica)

Be sure to check my About Me page to learn more information about my intentions for the blog.

Be sure to follow me on social media so you don’t miss a post and can see what I am up to and subscribe to my newsletter! I will send a monthly recap once a month and occasionally if I have key announcements

My first few blog posts are more get-to-know-me posts.

I’ve had a personal journal-style travel blog before, but this is way different. We will learn and grow on this journey together.
