Mount Royal- Montroyal- Montreal. Whoa, coincidence? I think not. Mont-Royal has hiking paths, skiing, and these spectacular views overlooking the city. It is the perfect activity for the outdoor enthusiast.
There are many things to do in Montreal. Visit the Contemporary or Fine Arts Museum. Visit the former Olympic Stadium, Biodome, and so much more. Pointe-à-Callière Museum pictured above is a historical and archaeological museum where you can walk around the underground remains that date back to the mid-1800s.

Brush up on your French skills while you are in Montreal, The default language spoken is in French but most people also speak English as well. French is everywhere, but English is often printed on signage and descriptions, and menus. If all goes wrong, you can typically resort to English to communicate.

The exchange rate for the Canadian dollar is the US Dollar’s favor. Your dollar goes a little further in Canada, which is is a plus!
